Terms of Sale and Warranty Information
1. All sales are final.
2. If within 7 days a mechanical part proves to be defective, seller will, within a reasonable period of time
replace the part.
3. Seller is not responsible for or liable for any incidental or consequential loss or damage.
4. No warranty or reimbursement on labor unless management approved in writing.
5. No cash refunds.
6. No warranty on seals, gaskets, fluids, or coolant.
7. In the event a mechanical part is defective, and a replacement is not obtainable, any refund will be made by
company check.
8. Non-rebuildable or incomplete cores are not acceptable for credit.
9. Parts Damaged or altered by customer are not warranted.
10. Keep your receipt. No claim or warranty will be made without it.
11. No claim made on body parts, colors or trim packages.
12. Overheating voids all warranties - all engines and cylinder heads, have heat tabs installed. If center of tab is
melted, it will void warranties.
13. Unless stated otherwise on the face of this receipt no other warranty is made or implied. WE DO OFFER EXTENDED WARRANTIES FOR ADDTIONAL COSTS.
14. Seller is not responsible for buyers error.
15. If at the seller’s sole discretion, a non-warranty return, is allowed a 25% restocking fee will be charged.
16. If you have a problem, contact Seymour Auto Wrecking, Inc. prior to removing part or attempting any repair to the part.
17. Seymour Auto Wrecking, Inc. makes no claim as to the suitability of any part for a particular purpose.
Buyer is responsible for determining the suitability of parts purchased for purposes intended.

Engine Warranty
19. Used engines are guaranteed not to have cracked block, head or bad crankshaft. Parts external to the
cylinder block and the cylinder head(s) (i.e., carburetor, distributor, fuel pump, etc.) are not warranted. These
are left on the engine for installer’s convenience ONLY.
20. All conditions listed under terms of sale (above) apply.
21. Used engines guaranteed against rod knock, excessive smoking, and excessive oil consumption for 6 months.
22. It is recommended buyer replace the rear main seal and inspect gaskets prior to installation.
23. All parts on the engine at the time of sale must be returned with the core engine for core credit. Core credits
will not be given after 30 days from the date of purchase or refunds.
24. Warranty will be void if not installed by a licensed technician.
Transmission Warranty
25. Improper detent adjustment, low fluid level, failure to install new filter (A.T. Only), broken front pump, or
improper installation voids all warranties.
26. All conditions listed under terms of sale (above) apply.
27. It is recommended buyer replace front seal prior to installation.
28. All transmissions come with a 6 month warranty from date of sale.
29. Oil cooler and transmission lines must be flushed.
30. Warranty will be void if not installed by a licensed technician.
Return Policy
31. KEEP YOUR RECEIPT. NO CLAIM OR WARRANTY WILL BE MADE WITHOUT IT.
32. Returns will be subject to a handling charge of 25%.
33. Returns must be authorized by the original salesperson.

FREIGHTED ITEMS MUST BE SHIPPED TO A COMMERCIAL ADDRESS WITH A LOADING DOCK AND A FORKLIFT, ABLE TO REMOVE THE PALLET FROM THE TRUCK.  WE ALSO COULD FREIGHT TO A LOCAL FREIGHT TERMINAL.  PLEASE CONTACT US FOR RATES ON FREIGHTED ITEMS.

All engines are sold as a long block only and will not include engine accessories.
Core Charge.
Core is an acronym for ‘Cash On Return’. A core charge is sometimes applied to rebuildable parts such as engines or alternators that can be redeemed for a portion of their original price. If the part you are purchasing has a core charge applied, it will be noted in the description.
Parts Grading.
A standard code system is used to communicate the condition and quality of a part between automotive recyclers, automotive repair shops, and insurers. Knowing how these codes are used will help you understand whether the part meets your expectations before you buy it and what you can expect from the part when you receive it.

- The highest quality part. It is of low miles and/or exceptional condition for its age.
