    Description

    Fostoria ice tea goblet in the "Century" pattern. This glass is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or breaks and no dishwasher cloudiness. These glasses and excellent American quality and an simple elegant presentation.
    Fostoria made the Century pattern in 1950, and it's incredibly popular.  They stand 5 7/8 inches high. They have a wavy optic pattern around the bottom of the goblet.  The stem resembles a "ball and claw", but the claws are actually the wavy pattern that makes Century so popular.
    The Century pattern can be seen photographed either in Gene Florence's "Collectible Glassware of the 1940s, 50s & 60s", or in Coe's "Elegant Glassware - Early, Depression & Beyond".
