    The Dutch East India Company merchant ship Hollandia carrying a large amount of trade coin and several passengers bound for the East Indies sank on July 13th 1743 near Annet, Isles of Scilly. Of of the 276 souls on board there were no survivors. The wreck was discovered and salvaged in the early 1970's yielding more than 35,000 silver coins, many of which were Mexican "pillar dollars".
